There has been some drama around NCF as of late. A few people have complained that Calvin makes them “uncomfortable” and he’s been singled out by some jealous assholes as a avatar of sketchy townie-ness. In an adorable New College show of affection last night at the “Assumin’ Your Favorite Human” wall 14 people dressed up as Calvin. I spent the whole night seeing him out of the corner of my eye. It was eerie, but also very amusing.
Calvin recently had to attend a meeting with the resident advisors and resident directors (RAs and RDs) so they could meet him and talk about the complaints. They made it clear that after last nights show of affection for Calvin they didn’t want to make this a bigger deal than it already was. So, all is well.
